About Me.

I'm in my first year of a collaborative doctoral award with the National Portrait Gallery and the University of Sheffield. My PhD is funded by the Arts Council through the White Rose College of Arts and Humanities (WRoCAH). I'm researching the lives and practices of the female portrait miniaturist in Britain, from roughly 1750 to 1840.

Previously I studied History at the University of Cambridge and achieved Distinction for my Masters thesis on the early English arts market and the reception of religious paintings. I spent 5 years working as a Brand & Audience Strategist in London before leaving for a sabbatical but I do occasional audience freelance work.

When I'm not volunteering for English Heritage and the National Trust, I can be found visiting museums, galleries and archives. I'm working on my first curated exhibition in September 2026 (watch this space!) and leading an eighteenth century album cataloguing project for a London historic property.

I'm always open to collaborating with researchers and curators. Please do get in touch if you have project or a query!
